From Editor-in Chief to the authors with our membership：publication fee is revised from May 1, 2018

Important Notification

Effective May 1, 2018, for an article by corresponding author who is a Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology (JSME), Japanese Society of Soil Microbiology (JSSM), Taiwan Society of Microbial Ecology (TSME), or Japanese Society of Plant Microbe Interactions (JSPMI) member, publication fee is revised to be ¥60,000*.

This revision of publication fee is essential for intellectual and financial independence of our journal, Microbes and Environments, we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

* NOTE: ¥60,000 ≈ $ 600, €500, as of November 9, 2017. It will fluctuate depending on the exchange rate.
